Finding this family the right property here in Chelan wasn’t easy, but after digging into the market a bit, we were able to find them a great fit that checked all of their boxes!
Our buyers had some unique needs. The sale would be part of a 1031 exchange so we had a timeline within which to identify up to 3 properties for potential purchase. Because the buyers wanted a vacation rentable spot to enjoy during their allowable number of days per year, their options were limited. Only properties located within the City of Chelan’s tourist accommodation zoned locations would work for them. And, many of these complexes will not be able to qualify for conventional financing, so unless the buyer is all-cash, the portfolio loan terms may or may not be appealing. The buyers were not all cash and in fact, were very interested in finding a Seller who could do owner-financing.
