Congratulations to Chelan’s Cairdeas Winery
Recent winner at the 36th Annual Tri-Cities Wine Festival in Kennewick, WA, Cairdeas Winery is one of the most un-assuming, friendly and welcoming wineries you could visit in the Chelan Valley.
And….they have great wines!
Cairdeas, which is pronounced “Car-dis” is an ancient Gaelic word meaning friendship or alliance and the name is fitting!
The owners are often pouring in the tasting room, and are readily willing to discuss their story which includes their start in West Seattle before moving to Chelan. Their wines are worth the visit, as the festival’s professional panelists affirmed. Earning “Best in Show” for their 2014 Tri Red Blend, Cairdeas also took home 4 Gold’s and 7 Silver medals.
Congratulations!
Next time you’re wine tasting in the Chelan Valley, stop into Cairdeas and taste for yourself!
